Keeena specialises in drafting and negotiation of commercial documents, advisory work on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, due diligence investigations, drafting shareholders agreements, sale of shares, memoranda of incorporation subscription agreements, board and shareholder resolutions and drafting of legal opinions and the identification of legal risks.
Keeena completed her law degree cum laude at the University of the Free State in 2019. She studied further and completed her LLM in International Economic Law in 2021. Her LLM studies were mainly concerned with the regulation of free trade between countries. Her dissertation titled “ Dispute settlement Mechanisms in the African Continental Free Trade Agreement: Lessons from the WTO Crisis” is centred on the efficiency of the dispute settlement mechanism adopted by the agreement in contrast with the defunct WTO dispute settlement mechanism as she believes that the dispute settlement mechanism can either ensure the accomplishment of the greater goal of the agreement that is increasing intra trade between African countries for the benefit of the staggering African economies or it can lead to a further frustration of the much needed intra trade between African countries.
